These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases made through the Wallace Green Truffles website.

By placing an order with Wallace Green Truffles, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. About Wallace Green Truffles

Wallace Green Truffles is a small, independent, handmade chocolate business operated by Laura as a sole trader.

Throughout these Terms & Conditions, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Wallace Green Truffles. “You” and “your” refer to the customer placing an order.

2. Our Chocolates

All Wallace Green Truffles chocolates are handmade in small batches using carefully selected ingredients.

As our chocolates are handmade, slight variations in appearance, colour, decoration, size and finish may occur. Product photographs are intended as a representation of the product and individual chocolates may vary slightly from those shown.

Our flavour selections may change throughout the year depending on seasonality, availability and our current collections.

3. Ingredients & Allergens

Our chocolates are made in a kitchen where a variety of allergens are handled.

Products may contain or come into contact with allergens including milk, soya, nuts, peanuts, eggs and cereals containing gluten, as well as other regulated allergens where applicable.

Full ingredient and allergen information is provided with our products and is available before purchase.

If you have a food allergy or intolerance, please check the relevant ingredient and allergen information before placing your order. If you are unsure whether a product is suitable for you, please contact us at wallacegreentruffles@gmail.com before ordering.

We take allergen information seriously and make every reasonable effort to ensure that the information provided is accurate and up to date.

Where chocolates are purchased as a gift, the purchaser is responsible for passing relevant allergen and ingredient information to the recipient.

Written allergen information will also be provided with orders. This is in addition to the information available before purchase.

4. Shelf Life & Storage

Our chocolates are handmade using fresh ingredients and are intended to be enjoyed within one month of purchase, unless a different best-before date is stated on the packaging.

Storage instructions will be provided with your order.

To maintain the quality of your chocolates, please follow the storage instructions supplied and keep chocolates away from excessive heat, direct sunlight and moisture.

Once an order has been delivered, Wallace Green Truffles cannot be responsible for deterioration resulting from incorrect storage or handling.

5. Placing an Order

Please check your order carefully before completing your purchase.

You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide, including your name, email address, delivery address and any order requirements, is correct.

Orders placed through our website are subject to availability.

Your order will be confirmed once payment has been successfully received.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where we are unable to fulfil it due to circumstances including product availability, unforeseen circumstances or an issue with the information provided.

If we need to cancel an order, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible and refund any payment already made for the cancelled order.

6. Order Notice Period

We recommend allowing 7–10 days' notice for orders.

Where availability permits, shorter notice may be possible. Please contact us if you require an order sooner and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

Wedding, corporate and larger bespoke orders may require additional notice.

7. Bespoke & Wedding Orders

Wedding, corporate and bespoke orders are handled separately from standard website orders.

Please contact us to discuss your requirements. We will provide a quotation based on the products, quantities, packaging, personalisation and delivery or collection requirements.

A quotation is not a confirmed order. Your order will only be confirmed once the quotation has been accepted and payment arrangements have been agreed.

Where a product is requested using a photograph, design or description supplied by the customer, Wallace Green Truffles will use this as inspiration and create our own interpretation. An exact reproduction cannot be guaranteed.

8. Prices & Payment

All prices displayed on our website are in pounds sterling (£).

Payment is required at the time of placing an order unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Payments made through our website are processed using Shopify Payments.

We do not currently accept PayPal payments through our website.

Prices may be changed from time to time. Any price agreed at the time your order is placed will not be changed retrospectively.

9. Delivery

We currently deliver within the UK only.

Standard delivery is via Royal Mail Tracked 24.

Our current standard delivery charge is £5.70.

Orders are normally dispatched so that they arrive within approximately 1–2 business days after dispatch, subject to Royal Mail service availability and circumstances outside our reasonable control.

The processing time for your order is separate from the delivery time. Please allow our stated preparation time before your order is dispatched.

Please ensure that the delivery address provided at checkout is accurate.

10. Local Collection

Local collection is available where offered.

Collection arrangements, including the collection date and time, will be confirmed with you once your order is ready.

Please do not attend for collection before receiving confirmation that your order is ready.

11. Cancellations, Returns & Refunds

Because our chocolates are perishable food products, customers do not have the usual cancellation rights that apply to many non-perishable goods once the relevant statutory exception for perishable goods applies.

However, this does not affect your legal rights if your order is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described.

If there is a problem with your order, please contact us as soon as possible at wallacegreentruffles@gmail.com with your order number and details of the issue.

Where appropriate, we may request photographs of the product and packaging to help us investigate the issue.

We will consider each issue individually and provide any refund, replacement or other remedy required by applicable consumer law.

12. Cancellation or Changes to Bespoke Orders

For bespoke, wedding or larger orders, a minimum of 5 days' notice is requested for cancellations or significant changes.

If preparation or production has already begun, ingredients, packaging or other materials may have been purchased specifically for your order.

We will discuss the available options with you if you need to cancel or change an order.

13. Delivery Problems

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible and provide photographs of the packaging and chocolates where possible.

If your order does not arrive within the expected timeframe, please contact us so that we can investigate the matter with Royal Mail.

We will work with you to resolve delivery problems in accordance with your legal rights.

14. Unforeseen Circumstances

Occasionally, circumstances outside our reasonable control may affect our ability to fulfil an order. These may include illness, equipment failure, ingredient supply issues, severe weather or significant delivery disruption.

If we are unable to fulfil your order as agreed, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible.

Where appropriate, we may offer an alternative delivery date or a refund.

15. Quotations

Quotations for wedding, corporate and bespoke orders are valid for 7 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.

A quotation does not constitute a confirmed order.

16. Product Photography & Publication

We may photograph products created by Wallace Green Truffles for use on our website, social media, marketing materials and other promotional channels.

We will not intentionally publish customers' personal information alongside product photographs without permission.

17. Our Liability

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory consumer rights.

18. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, subject to any applicable consumer rights.
